1965 Galaxie 500 XL Convertible
Hello All!
This is a picture of me at Hot August Nights in Reno, 1998. With me is my Brother, Brian, his girlfriend Jamie, and her friend Heather. The picture was taken at the Atlantis Casino Resort, as part of their $10,000 Cruise of Champions. It was the best deal there. Five bucks and I got to cruise, get this photo, a tee-shirt, and a dash plate.
Another picture of my car in front of my house. It was taken 8/28/98 with my digital camera. Unfortunately most of the pictures didn't come out well because of lighting. Oh, well, that's what's nice about a digital camera, pictures are free. The car was white with a blue interior, 352 and an automatic transmission. I decided that I would upgrade it in my restoration.

This is a picture of my interior. In the early spring, I had all new upholstery installed, including door panels, sun visors, rear quarter trim, and a new dashpad.
This is a close-up of my engine. All other pictures I took of it were dark. It is a 390, .030 over, mild cam, polished Ford aluminum intake (early 390PI?), tubular headers, and a Holley 750 vac. secondaries. It's far from stock, but since the car will never be 100% stock down to every sticker, I figured I'd have some fun.
