The Jeep Rubicon is a very capable vehicle right from the factory. While it could be a great extreme vehicle with the right modifications, I'm leaving it basically stock for now. However, there are a few small additions I've done.
The first is a High Lift jack. This is a basic piece of recovery equipment all 4x4's should have. It is a jack that will push, pull, lift, winch, and clamp.

The second addition was JKS quicker disconnects for the front sway bar. The sway bar helps the Jeep handle on road. But, off road it prevents the wheels from moving up and down. The result is a very rough off-road ride, and worse, cases where one wheel comes off the ground.
